I will settle for honesty, integrity and openminded attitude. If self serving and inconsistent leave the board will be complete. thanks. now they scramble to call moe, larry and curly.
At the bottom is Sam Sloan. Mike Goodall says he wants to be just like Sloan, Joe Lux is the pits. and Jones is mentioned above.
Those left. Don Schultz and Jim Berry. Don is one of the consumate politicians that has been a clever brick wall to get things done. He is more trouble but he is keeping a low profile on the forums. He gets other people to be nasty for him. Sam Sloan was elected because of Schultz who continues to support Sloan Lux Jones and Goodall according to postings on the uscf forums. He opposes Susan.
Jim Berry is a former StockBroker claiming to be a banker who supports his brother in spliting up and forming a rival chess organization from the official uscf organization in Oklahoma. I think he is running so as to get power at the national level to get uscf to change over to the Berry rival group. He shows only the will to use his money to fight those he opposes ( which is the official USCF Oklahoma organization ) and shows no signs of compromise or getting along with other people. Not the type person to get on the EB.
That leave us with the 4 winners Susan, Paul, Randy and Mikhail.
Anyone but Sam Sloan, Joe Lux or Mike Goodall. I rate them in the bottom for lacking all the qualities above.
I agree. I wouldn’t vote for any of these three. I wouldn’t vote for Jones either for his association with Hal Bogner.
I originally had lux in the top 3. But after I saw him wildly attacking others in the forum, I now rank him the same as Sloan.
All are important. We need candidates with all of them.
Able to show real results; not just talk.
Does not dis other people.
Gets along with other opponents.
…
I think all of the above, plus the love and enthusiasm for the art and sport of Chess. I feel Susan has all of these qualities… Rich
5 individuals should drop out of this race for the betterment of chess:
Sloan, Lux, Goodall, Jones, and Schultz.
If they want what is best for chess they will all drop out of the race.

I voted for Bush because he “wasn’t Sam Sloan”.
Passion.
Should have a blog !!

My opinion is that Jones is a very nasy person.
I will vote for Susan, Paul, Randy and Mikhail.
