Gata Kamsky tried very hard but could not crack Nisipeanu. Topalov and Adams also drew but Adams missed his chances to win. Mamedyarov had a draw in hands but 41.d7?? ended the game immediately. 41.Nxd8 would lead to an equal game.

wow, sasikiran is really prepared this time…come on win this thing now…
Sasikiran, the silent assassin… who would have expected this? I honestly know very little about this player, and I did not even consider him to be a serious contender for 1st in this event. This is a pleasant surprise, indeed.
How will Nxd8 lead to an equal position? I thought Black was winning even without the d7 blunder!
If black plays Bh3, how will white excape the mate threat by Rc1? Are you suggesting repeated checks to the unprotected black king, leading to a draw?
Can somebody explain Susan’s comments please?
