http://www.chessbase.com/ just posted a very cool “guess who” game. It is very clever. Just like Korchnoi, I know this player well and he proves that age does not matter as he is rated around 2600. Check out the clues on ChessBase and see if you can guess it 🙂
Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Daniel Fridman?
Peter Leko
Bobby Polgar
Mike Tyson
I have no clue, but my guess would be Mickey Adams.
No, no, no. The guy is rated the highest in his country, yet is only 2600.
It can only be one man: Fabiano Capuana.
Fabiano Caruana?
The italian Caruano ?
Yasser Seirawan?

No clue Susan, but I’m dying to know the answer. Who is it???
Fabiano Caruana. Age is not a barrier!!! Misleading suggesting that he might now be as old as Korchnoi. Dual US Italian citizen. Played in NY. Nice puzzle. Thanks.
Fabiano is the top ranked played of his Country. And is rated 2594.
Also Caruana has a dual citizen ship.

Fabiano Caruana,Italian Federation (student at Polgar center when was a kid, now he is studing in Europe with Gms) 2594 Elo (but he had already new points to add and go over 2600)
Actually he is playing in Winthertur Tournament, he is first with 5.5 on 6 , and he recently beated Malakhatko 2603.
He won Vlissingen last month ( there where Tiviakov,Kasjmandov,Stellwaggen..) and he will play at CORUS “C” on january”

It’s Fabiano. Check for yourself. In the chessbase article is a position from a game. Enter that position into Fritz 9/10 or Shredder 10 and search the database.
