Who’s the strongest player in Oregon?
GM Dake [knock knock…I still believe in ya Artie!!]
Chuck Shulien (2320) has the highest rating, but he’s playing at a rate of less than one event per year.
Nick Raptis (USCF 2296, FM)and Radu Roua (2222) are the two strongest active players in Oregon. Landon Brownell (2255) is right there with them, but I don’t think he’s played since graduating from high school last year.
Only 21 players for the Spring Open? What happened to Oregon’s chess players?
