Only had a quick glance at this, but it seems at least that 1 Rxb7 Bxb7 2 Be7+ Kxe7 3 Rxd7+ Kf8 4 Rxb7 wins some material, and leaves black’s a-pawn very weak. But there might be a more decisive solution.
Thanks very much, I like that one. I thought the solution was 1. Rxb7 Bxb7 2. Bxe5 because I hadn’t updated the moves of the R at c8 so I didn’t see that 2. … Bc6 was possible.

How about 1. Rxb7 followed by 2. Be7+ followed by 3. Rxd7+ and 4. Rxb7
Bxd7 wins outright
Be7+ is much prettier
1.Rxb7 Bxb7 2.Be7+
Be7 looks more apt to me!
1. Rxb7 Bxb7
2. Be7+
wins a piece.
2. … Kxe7
3. Rxd7+ Kf8
4. Rxb7
or
2. … Kc7
3. Rxd7+
Rxd7+, Ke8, Rxb7+, Kd8, Be7# is the route to victory.
Eh, maybe Rxb7
Be7+ KxB R1xd7+ and soon mate
Rxb7 and then Be7+ wins a piece
Maybe 1. Rxb7 Bxb7 2.Be7+ winning a piece.

1. Rxb7! Bxb7
2. Be7! check Kxe7
3. Rxd7 check and Rxb7
with an extra piece
1.BxR BxB; 2. Be5 and Black cannot defend the N
winning the game is very easy
Rxb7 then Bxe5 and then you can take the d7 knight.
Rxb7 BxR
Be7+ Kxb
Rxd7+ any
RxB wins a piece
Brit-Mate
1 Be7+ Kxe7
2 R1xd7+ Kf6
3 Rxf7 #
or 2 … Ke8/Kf8
3 Rxc8#
1 Be7+ Ke8
2 Rxc8+ Kxe7
3 Rxa8 &
4 Rxd7 with an extra R
There might be a mate in the last line too but anyway it is much more elegant.
Odd how many people are suggesting Be7+, and none of these people have noticed that black can play Rxc7 in this circumstance.
rb7 followed by be7 simply wins, but I don’t get why everybody says be7 direct wins, if black can simply take the rook on c7 instead of the bishop..
