1. B:f7+ seems obvious. After 1… R:f7 2. Qe6 threatens 3. h7 R:h7 4. Qg+ winning an exchange, and also 3. Q:g6 pinning the R and allowing the h6 pawn to advance. Also 2…Rf8 3. Q:g6+ forces the R back to f7. It’s hard to find anything line a defense for black; the Bc6 makes 2…Qb6 meaningless.
Perhaps the best line for Black is 1. B:f7+ R:f7, 2. Qe6 Qa6 threatening the a-pawn if the White Q moves, but 3. h7 still works.
Had followed that game live and could not believe how Schoene, so far 0/7, clobbered her experienced opponent: 1.Bxf7+! seals matters. After 1… Rxf7 2.h7! black is simply busted. Beelze
1 bf7 rf7
2 h7..
if 2.. rh7
3 qg8 wins
if 2.. rf8
3 qg8 wins also.
I think Bf7 does the trick. If black takes the bishop with the rook, then h7 , if rook takes pawn Qg8!+-.
1 Bf7! Rxf7
2 h7!
a)2…Rxh7 Qg8!
b)2…Qxb3 h8=Q!
c)2…Rf8 Rhf1!
and white wins
Correct me someone if I´m wrong
Greetings from Brazil

Clear the way for the h-pawn.
1. Bf7 Rf7
2. h7 Rh7
3. Qg8 Bf8
4. Qh7
The other 1st move doesn’t help black:
1. Bf7 Kf8
2. Bg6 Qb3 (what else?)
3. ab3 Rh8
4. Rhf1 Kg8
5. h7 Kg7
6. Bf5 with a huge edge.
Also,
1. Bf7 Rf7
2. h7 Rf8
3. Qe6 and I don’t see a defense against 4. Qg6.
White wins at least the exchange with
1. Bxf7+ Rxf7
2. h7 Qxb3
3. h8=Q+ Rf8
4. Qxf8+
and
5. axb3
x. Bxf7+
1. Bxf7 Rxf7
2. h7 Rxh7
3. Qg8+
1. Rdf1
1. Bxf7+ Rxf7
2. h7 Qxb3
3. h8(Q)+ Rf8
4. Qxf8+ Kxf8
5. axb3
wins the exchange

looking at the ratings of the two players, wonder if this was a missed opportunity or a giant killing?
