Will take a wild guess and say Red Rock, Texas. Susan lives in Texas, and the rock is red. However, maybe they call it Red Rock because it is so hot in the summer.
My first suspicion was, based on the color of the rocks, Mars. But then I looked closely and saw formations that looked quite a bit what some people like to call “trees” and another that seemed a bit like a “human.” These two factors led me away from thinking of Mars and towards Earth. So I’ll guess Earth.
Red rock country Sedona.
Big Bend National Park.
This is where Susan was when these pictures were taken. I have to right, don’t I?
I also agree with Sedona, as I have been there myself. Be sure to pick up some of the blue-stone jewelry, as I did for my wife!
Palo Duro Canyon in Texas
I love the open spaces of the United States.
(I’m tired of living in a country with two inhabitants per square meter).
Sorry Susan but today I feel like Christopher McCandless. 🙂
Nice pictures.

Palo Duro or Big Bend?
Sedona has more rugged ridges than I see in those photos, and more prominent ones. Of course, the perspective of the photos could be minimizing them.
