Nxh7 Kxh7
N-f6+ Bxf6
Q-h5+ N-h6
Qxh6 K-g8
Qxg6
with a winning advantage
1. Nxh7, threatening
2. Nhf6+ Bxf6
3. Nxf6+ and
4. Nxe7
1. … Kxh7
2. Nf6+ Bxf6
3. Qh7+ Kg7 or Kg8
4. Qxg6+ Kh8
5. Qh7#
1. … Nd8 or Ne5
2. Nxf8
Loved this one!
1. Nxh7!! Kxh7
(forced to stop the double threat of Nxf8 as well as Nf6+ winning the queen)
2. Nf6+!!! Bxf6
(loved the double piece sacrifice to expose the Black king to attack)
3. Qh5+! Nh5
(forced again, Kg7 or Kg8 leads to a mate in two)
4. Qxg6+!! Kh8
(Qxg6+ appears better to me than Qxh6+, although both lead to a win)
5. Rxe6! Qg7
(Black queen must support the knight as well as bishop and stay in the 7th rank to stop Qh7+ checkmate)
6. Qxh6+ 1-0
And White wins by virtue of three strong connected passed pawns on the king side.
This is a lovely forceful combination. Took sometime to do this. Kept on seeing Nf6 fork but Nxh7 sets up everything nicely..
1. Nxh7 Kxh7
(1.. Rfe8 is curtains due to 2. Nef6+)
2. Nf6+ Bxf6
3. Qh5+ Nh6
4. Qxg6+ Kh8
5. Rxe6 Qg7
6. Qh5 and white wins
1-0
1. Nxh7 Kxh7
2. Nf6+ Bxf6 (else 3. NxQ)
3. Qh5+ Kg8
4. Qxh6+ Kh8
5. Qh7#
