Black is threatening mate in 2.White can prevent it with b3,but he has a much better move.If the White R was not on e7,most people would see that Qe7 is mate.The trick is not merely to move the R,but-crucially important in light of Black’s mate threat -to do so with a gain of tempo. This is achieved by Rf7+ , clearing the e7 square.Black’s reply is the forced Kxf7,whereafter White replies Qe7 checkmate.
