The 68th Argentinian women chess championship took place from September 4-11th, 2015, in Club Obras – Palacio de las Aguas Corrientes and Club Argentino – Paraguay 1858.
The event was an 8-round Swiss open tournament with tempo of play 90’ + 30”.
Argentinian best player IM Carolina Lujan emerged a sole winner with 7/8 points. Lujan drew two games and won six to lift the trophy.
The runner-up, WGM Claudia Amura, finished at 6.5 points, leaving the bronze medalist WIM Ayelen Martinez, half a point behind.
