Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
3-way tie for 1st: Krush, Rohonyan and Zatonskih.
Batchimeg Tuvshintugs
I know so little about Katerina maybe you can give us some info. I did a google search and it looks like she is presently a student at UMBC and she plays on the Baltimore team of USCL and this note from Jan 2006. She looks like she is very good competitive chess player.
………..
Armenian chess player WGM Katerina Rohonyan (Ukraine) took the first prize in the FINEK-2006 women’s international tournament held in St. Petersburg, Russia. She gained 6,5 points of 9, just as much as Julia Kochetkova (Russia) had, but was the first on tie break.

Of course I have followed Irina Krush for a long time and hope she does well. She is one of my favorite players. Great tournament so far.

Katerina seems to have a very slight edge. The big game will be when these two play each other. so far Katerina has 2 wins against 2 of the top 3 players. Irina has 2 draws against 2 of the top 3.
Unfortunately Anna is a full point out of first. here are the standings from the official site.
