Irish Chess Union (ICU) development officer Darko Polimac reports the good news that the European Chess Union are helping to sponsor the 2015 Glorney and Faber cups with 5000 euro in support.
The ICU is pleased to announce that the European Chess Union (ECU) has provided a very generous grant of 5000 euro to the ICU to go towards the cost of hosting this year’s Glorney/Gilbert junior international events between teams from Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.
The tournaments take place in the Johnstown Hotel in Enfield from 19th to 22nd July 2015.
On behalf of the Irish Chess Community, the ICU Executive would like to express our sincere appreciation to the ECU for their very generous financial support for this year’s event.
