The Hungarian Chess Federation is delighted to announce a great international tournament organized in Budapest exclusively for women. Such tournaments are very rare worldwide and Hungary, as former Olympic Champion of women would like to continue traditions of supporting women chess. After successfully organizing the World Youth Chess Olympiad in December 2014, this event is going to be another step forward to bring Hungary back to the palette of chess world actively organizing great international events. The world famous Polgar sisters put Hungarian chess in floodlight for more than a quarter of a century and the tradition providing special attention chess an especially to women chess should be continued.

The event takes place in the freshly renewed bright and clean, nicely decorated tournament halls of the Hungarian Chess Federation in the heart of the city, near the Houses of Parliament and the River Danube.
