The Tajikistan Chess Federation has the honor to invite all National Chess Federations of Zone 3.4 affiliated with FIDE to participate in the Zone 3.4 Championships which will be held from 3rd-12th June, 2015, in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Entitled to participate are players from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Top two finishers in the Men’s Zonal will qualify for the World Chess Cup 2015.
Winner of the Women’s Zonal will qualify for the Women’s World Championship.
The tournament will be played according to the Swiss System in 9 rounds. The time control is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an addition of 30 seconds per moves starting from move one. Draw agreement can be reached only with Chief Arbiter’s permission.
The organizer shall provide free full board and lodging during the tournament for two invited players (man and woman) of each Federation from Zone 3.4. Additional players must pay for their own meals and accommodation to the Tajikistan Chess Federation directly.
In accordance with FIDE regulations an entry fee of US$ 75 is required for each invited player. For each additional (extra) player, an entry fee of US$ 150 is required.
Registration fee of US $ 100 for each player which includes accreditation and transfer must also be paid before the start of the competition.
Entry forms must be filled by the National Federations and returned to the organizer with a copy of passport of each player not later than 20th May 2015.
The total prize fund is 5000 US Dollars. The prize fund and Arbiters’ stipends are provided by Asian Chess Federation.
