GM Nikita Maiorov (Belarus) emerged a clear winner of the Bergquell Open 2015 with 5,5/7 points.

The event was organized by Chess Club 1994 OberlanD e.V. from 7th to 12th February in Lautersdorf, Germany.

The second place was shared in a three-way tie by GM Yuri Solodovnichenko (Ukraine), GM Henrik Teske(Germany) and GM Vladimir Okhotnik (France) with 5 points each, but the Ukrainian player prevailed on a superior tie-break score and took the silver, while Teske remained third.

The 15-year-old German talented player, Roven Vogel, finished fifth with 4,5/7 points. You can see the full standings below.
