The national title defense of Webster University got off to a rocky start. Our 1st flight from St. Louis to Dallas was delayed for more than 35 minutes. Because of this, we would have missed our connection to Brownsville, TX.
Luckily for us, American Airlines stepped up to the plate. They arranged for a special ramp bus to pick us up right at the door of our plane, and took us directly to our second flight. Due to the quick thinking of AA, we made it right on time.
Big thanks to American Airlines for taking great care of our team. They even wished our team members the best of luck in our competition.

Big disappointment from other teams. They wish Webster doesn’t show up.

Without So, Web U will be beatable.
I’m glad Wesley So moved up from 3rd board last year to 1st board this year.
Wesley So is on a full scholarship. He has 3 requirements. Pass your classes, and play the Pan Ams and Final Four to help win the school a national championship. I think his scholarship should be voided. I hope Webster loses and Wesley ‘s absence is the blame.
Wesley So is in Las Vegas at the North American Open.
