The 18. Offene Internationale Bayerische Schachmeisterschaft will take place from 25th October to 2nd November at the Wandelhalle in Bad Wiessee, Germany.
The tournament format is 9-round Swiss with the time control 40 moves in 90 minutes, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, plus 30 sec. increment from the first move.
The organizers guarantee participation of at least 20 Grandmasters. The upper limit of participants (470) is reached and the registrations are closed.
Top prizes are EUR 2.500, 2.000, 1.500, 1.000, 900 etc
