The European Senior Team Championship 2014 was held from 1-9th April in Sibenik, Croatia. 36 teams competed in the 9-round Swiss event.

Russia 1 took a clear first place with 16 match points (8 wins and loss against Croatia) to claim another gold medal in this competition.

The winning team consisted of Grandmasters Semen Dvoirys, Evgeny Gleizerov, Alexei Gavrilov, Yuri Balashov and IM Vladimir Zhelnin.

Croatia is second with 14 points, while Slovakia claims the bronze after edging Bosnia and Herzegovina on tie-break.
