Alexander Grischuk has confirmed his participation in the Norway Chess Tournament 2014.
So far eight players have been signed from the 10-player field. The remaining two names will be announced later. The tournament dates are 2-13th June.
The tournament will take place across at least three different venues: Inge Brigt Aarbakke factory hall in Bryne, Vågen Videregående Skole – High school in Sandnes, and the main arena in Scandic Hotel Stavanger Forus.
It is possible that two additional venues will be added.
Earlier announced players are World Champion Magnus Carlsen, Fabiano Caruana, WCC Candidates Levon Aronian, Vladimir Kramnik, Veselin Topalov, Sergey Karjakin and Peter Svidler.
