Rxd5
At a glance, 1.Rd5 should win. Black cannot retake with the king since white pushes e4+discovering an attack on black’s rook.
1. Rxd5 Kxd5
2. e4+ and
3. Rxg3
1. R:d5 K:d5
2. e4+
wins the rook
If 1 … Rg2+
2. Kf3
Rd3?
Rb-d3
Rb-c3
BTW, the recaptcha being used here is very vague and I had to redo the comments around 4 times
RxN , KxR then e4+
rxd5 and black must resign.
If black does not recapture , white has a decisive material adavantage. If black replies kxd5 , then e4 check discovers an attack on the black rook which cannot be defended.
This one looks very simple 🙂
1. Rxd5! Kxd5
2. e4+ Kxe4/fxe4/any other move
3. Rxg3 1-0
Even this alternative is not better for Black:
1. Rxd5! Rg2+
2. Kf1/Kf3 1-0
R x d5 followed by e4 check winning blacks rook
Rxd4 Kxd4
d4+! and the rook is lost because of the discovered check on the third rank.
Good one 🙂
1. Rxd5 Kxd5
2. e4+ Kxe4
3. Rxg3
greets, jan
Rxd5
1.Rxd5! 1-0
if 1…Kxd5 2.e5+ wins the rook
