Should be a 15-second puzzle. 1. Nd7+ Kg8 2. Qe8+ mates with Q-f8/N-f6/K-h7.
1.Nd7+ Kg8 (1..Qd7: 2.Qh8#)
2.Qe8+ Kg7 (2..Kh7 3.Qf7:+ Kh8 4.Qf8+ Kh7 5.Nf6#) 3.Qf8+ Kh7 4.Nf6#
I think this works too, correct me if I missed something:
1. Qe7+ Kg7
2. Ne8+ Kh8
3. Qf8+ Kh7
4. Qg7#
or
2. .. Kh7
3. Qxf7+ Kh8
4. Qg7#
Swag, I think you missed 2.-Kg8
I only find a draw by repetition but can not find the win.
I found it now. Qe7+ only draws.
isn’t a draw by repetition (forced one that is) considered “saving the position?”

I agree though I did not make it in that time.
Curiously everything was calculated fast except of seeing that mate in 1 after Qxd7 2. Qh8#.
First glance went to Nd7+ and it was easy to see – and calculate – the other mates but finding that 1. -, Qxd7 (first thought: Oups, almost overlooked the queen!) “saves” black got me to search for other moves until I came back….
So it took me about 2 minutes… shame on me. 🙂
It costed me 2 minutes, 3 seconds and 24 milliseconds. If anyone’s interested.
