The simultan was very well organised by CVWarehouse (http://www.cvwarehouse.com/), a new company founded by Miss Inge Gerdens and specialised in recruitment online. This event marked a new recuitment platform on http://www.cvwarehouse.com/.

Inge Geerdens (female entrepreneur of the year 2005 by the Flemish Government), cvwarehouse said: “With today’s events, we are celebrating another succesful year and the release of a new version of our online recruitment solution CVWarehouse.com.
Why did we opt for a chess tournament ? Quite simple, to be succesful in recruitment and entrepreneurship, one needs to combine operational effeciency with strategic insights, which is not that different from chess at all.

CVWarehouse.com is an online recruiting platform where companies and candidates meet in a confidential way. Candidates can leave their CV or apply onine for specific vacancies in a simple, fast and discrete way. Through a web portal, companies have access to this platform without any additional investment and can integrate the solution with their own website. Telenet, Getronics, Kraft Foods, Brussels Airlines, are only a few customers of the platform. CVWarehouse originated form the Antwerp based recruitment and selection
agency Executive Research.

British GM Nigel Short reported live on the status of the different games. It was possible to follow the games on several screens and learn about the new features of CVWarehouse at the same time in the VIP room. Kurt Van Eeghem, radio and TV presentator hosted the VIP event.

He easily scored 26-0. There were only two good players : Eva Baekelant (about 2000 elo and female belgian talent, last european champion (with 7.5/9 and before boys !) and Ronald Willen (1855).

28 HD TV-camera followed the event live for european program EXQI and HD1 (http://www.alfacamgroup.com/; http://www.cultuurzender.be/index2.php; http://www.eurocammediacenter.be/)

In the morning, a press conference was held at the Hilton Hotel in Antwerp. Kasparov spoke about his politics and a little bit about chess. He said that he is now the best kibitzer in the world to follow his old collegues and to be enjoy to find some errors in their games. He is also busy in written his new books about his matches against Karpov.

Bessel Kok was present. He is Member of the Board at CVWarehouse and co-organizer of this event with Miss Gerdens. He said that he want to make new big tournament in Belgium like the ime of the SWIFT tournament.
