Yesterday I made a post seeking for volunteer help with editing for the Susan Polgar Foundation. So far, I have received more than 3 dozens incredible offers to help!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH to all who responded! It means a lot to me to see so many people willing to help chess.
You can be sure that I will continue to work hard every day for chess. With your help, I am confident that we will succeed!
Thank you again!!

Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
I just wonder what qualities you want in people on your team. Loyalty, advocate, partisan, independent judgement.
The trouble is that there trade-offs. Blind loyalty reduces a person’s effectiveness, especially if one argues on your behalf. “He’s just a partisan; he never sees any other point of view.”
On the other hand, you don’t want loose cannons, either. Independent thinkers with sound judgement.
People you associate with ought to be bridges to others and if not bridges, then at least they ought not be barriers. “I’d love to work with Susan but she’s connected with him.”
One piece of wisdom I got from Donald Regan’s memoirs (he was Ronald Reagan’s Chief of Staff – Reagan fired him) was that President Reagan never communicated to him what he expected him to do or not do.
Picking the right people to help you out is hard work. And it doesn’t stop when you’ve decided; you still have to manage them thereafter, too.
