Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
is judit out of tournament with her loss to gelfand
Isn’t it dangerous for Wesley to play for a win? In this position it looks like trying to force a win can lead to a loss.
It’s interesting to watch Shirov play with computer evaluation.
Maybe his play really is just unsound, the way it has always appeared to me.
Shirov always loses to more solid top players in these world cups- Anand, kamsky last time- and I expected Svidler to win he is very solid too.
Shirov is a bit unsound but the top players take advantage- especially Anand and Kasparov!
Four young ones are still there –
well done, boys!
okay
I’ll support ponomariov
