1..Rd5 wins a pawn and gives Black a good position. I am not sure though if it is a winning end game. After for example:
2. Kf1 Rxe4
3. Nxe4 Rxd1+
4. Kg2 RxR
5. KxR
Indeed, it seems that after 1…Rd5!! white is in some kind of zugzwang!
To Ogion The Silent:
”1…Rd5
2. Kf1 Rxe4
3. Nxe4 Rxd1+
4. Kg2 RxR”
4.Kg2 Rd5
5.f6 Kg6 and black has clear advantage.
Hm. I looked up what Chucky played (22…Rd5, just like you guys), and I see how the game continued (23.Ke2 Rxf5 24.Rh2 Rf4 25.f3 f5 0-1). But I still don’t get it. Sure, Black’s better, but decisively better?

In the line you suggested, you stated a clear advantage for Black. However I don’t see how to convert this to a win.
White being a pawn down still has a game. Could it be Svidler resigned too early ?
