Looks he can leave his bishop en prise and simply play 1…bxa5. The knight is not able to stop that pawn, nor is the bishop.
WoW! A BLACK PUZZLE Susan does black cut? hehe. A vishy trick?
1.bxa4 how can white block this pawn?
b x a4 looks like a queen
Bg5
Looks to me that black can simply play
1. …..ba4
2. Kf4 Nc4 and the a-pawn can no longer be stopped by either of white’s pieces nor the king.
Against a 2500-player.. offer a draw with a beer attached and hope for a yes… 🙂
1 … bxa4 2. Kxf4 a3 3.Ne3 Nd3+ (3… a2 4.Nc2) 4. Kf3 Ne1 and white Knight cannot reach c2.
… bxa4
Kxf4 Nc4
and I don’t see how white stops the black a-pawn from queening…
1. bxa4 The only way to stop the a-pawn is with the knight via e3 and c2 so Kxf4 is forced.
2. Nc4 avoiding Ne3 and there is no way to stop the a-pawn.
HT
…Nc4
Kxf3, bxa4
Can white stop promotion on a-file?
ba
1)..bxa KxB Nc4 Ne3 NxN KxN a3 and queens
2.)..bxa c4 Bd2 KxN a3 and queens
3.)..bxa Be1 Nc4 Kd5 a3 and queens
bxa4 results to a queening pawn
axa4 is cool
Maybe I’m old fashioned…but I’d play 1…bxa4 without thinking twice!
