Here is a picture from a chess tournament i Hammerfest , Norway, recently. This is the official website. This traditional tourney which has been arranged 33 times.
The clock is working and is used for the blitz-part of the festival. It has been used for 10 years now and the most famous names using it , have been. Ivan Sokolov and Simen Agdestein.

Actually cuite physical to play blitz this way. Under the traditional tournament Kalotturneringen there are a not so serious blitz tournament going late in the night. The chess floor and the big clock is reserved for the 1 table, and many strong players have been getting good excercise 🙂
