Today, it took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to drive a stretch of 10 miles from NJ through downtown Manhattan to Queens. This was not even traffic hours because it was around 1 PM.
Does New York City have the worst traffic? Can any other city top it?

I have driven all over the U.S. and the worst for me are Los Angeles and San Francisco. A quick web search confirmed my finding (New York isn’t even in the top 12 worst!):
By the Texas Transportation Institute’s reckoning, the cities having the worst traffic problems are:

As long as you avoid rush hour Atlanta really isn’t that bad
Houston can be pretty miserable.
Oklahoma City, however, is fantastic. Come for the centennial next year!
If you’re into crazy drivers, driving in Mexico City can be a real adventure.
Cities in Ireland aren’t great but the country roads are the WORST. Very narrow and drivers going 60 mph when they should be going 25!!
I have heard India has some pretty dicey travel, where you can share the road with, say, an elephant. But here in the states I can confirm that LA is one scary commute.
