Serbia Women Chess Championship 2010
WGM Andjelija Stojanovic takes her third title in four years

The 2010 Serbia Chess Championship for women was held on 20-30th April in the Army Club in Pancevo, under management by the City of Pancevo and IO Miladin Mitrovic. 12 players competed in a round-robin tournament.

WGM Andjelija Stojanovic drew the lowest rated participant Ksenija Tomin in the last round, but this was enough to secure the title of the national champion, half a point ahead of the charging WIM Marija Rakic.

This is the third title for Andjelija, who previously won the 2007 (also in Pancevo) and 2008 championships. The row was interrupted by the talented Sandra Djukic, who was the champion in 2009.
