Top Filipino Grandmaster Wesley So took a clear first place with 6 points, leaving the talented Canadian IM Nikolay Noritsyn half a point behind.

Wesley So continues the Canadian tour in the Quebec Open Chess Championship 2012, that is starting today in Montreal. Then he will head to Webster University – SPICE for his full time study, with a brief two week interruption to represent the Philippines in the Chess Olympiad in Turkey.
