I agree with Masked Pawn, Wesley will really look awesome with the Red and Black uniform. Susan, try to do your best to convince this young phenom to get college education thru chess instead of end up just the likes of Torre or Antonio. No disrespect to both these GMs, they are good guys and successful in their own ways but nothing beats having a college degree.
Wesley told me that college is on hold for the next few years while he continues with chess. But I think he understands the importance of a college education. He’s a good kid and his parents provide good guidance.
But when he does decide to go to college, I hope Texas Tech will be there for him.
