Good for So for winning despite all the crap he had to deal with lately. Pichau needs to release him. Pichay is nothing but a corrupt politician who would drag Philippine chess to the ground and So is smart enough to jump ship before it happens.
how sad Philippine chess federation is headed by a ‘corrupt’ to the bones politician in the person of Pichay. How sad that filipino gms have to stagnate due to lack of financial support by this organization that supposed to look out and develop these talents. They were given 15Million pesos per year from PSC and you can see are ragtags life of filipino chess players. Same story, money due to beneficiaries pocketed by these corrupt officials headed by a very corrupt Prospero Pichay.
