Webster University freshman, GM Fidel Corrales Jimenez, just won the 2013 Philadelphia Open with the score of 7-2. He tied for 1st with IM Daniel Naroditsky (GM norm) but edged him on tiebreaks.
This is Fidel’s last warm up tournament before representing Webster University at the College Chess Final Four next weekend in Rockville, MD. He will be playing board 4.
