After the third game, Anand and Topalov had to through a doping control process. The head of the FIDE doping commission Dr. Jana Belin came to Sofia for this procedure. She is the same person who performed the doping control procedure in Elista. The process in Sofia took place in two separate rooms in the Military Club in Sofia.
