The 10th Open International d’échecs de Plancoët was held from 28th July to 3rd August in Plancoët, Bretagne, France.

Open A was reserved for players rated above 1800. The top prize is 1200 EUR from the total prize fund of 6000 EUR.

Open B, with 700 EUR in prizes, was reserved for the U1800 players.

103 players competed in Open A. Romanian Grandmaster Vlad-Cristian Jianu took a clear first place with 7,5/9 points, leaving the second placed GM Alexandre Dgebuadze (Belgium) half a point behind.

Open B had 74 participants. Simon Girault was the convincing winner with 8,5/9 points, leaving the nearest followers point and a half behind.
