Texas #1. I wonder which board members live in Texas?
If you add N.Calif and S.Calif together…
Not much tournament chess going on in Wyoming.
I’d love to see a complete statistical profile of USCF members, with things like ratings distributions among adults and scholastic/juniors.
What percentage of adult members are unrated?
What percentage have not played in a tournament in the past year? The past three years?
My theory is that a the number of USCF members who are either unrated or total patzers (say
USCF Breakdown indeed.
Texas can’t add — California is only one state — we’re broken north and south because we are #1….over 9000 members from California!!!!!
Californians can’t even get along that they had to split up. That’s a bad sign.
seems like USCF memberships are declining every year.. 81803 now. We need to change this.
Did California have a civil war and were split up to North and South California?
Looks like a little favoritism being shown in order for Texas to be ranked number one.
I think California has split about 10 years ago due to state politics. The folks from the north and south don’t like each other.
Yeah, North and South California have separate state organizations and hold separate state scholastic championships.
What was the peak of USCF membership?
