I think it is cyrillic letters so B means V in latin alphabet. That is why my guess is Vassily Ivanchuk.

Of course Vasily Ivanchuk.
I learnt Russian in primary school, and I recognized B as V as christian name abbrev. character, then in Ukraine the letter I is printed as I not mirrored N as in Russia, so the familyname can be read as Ivanch. The ending is missing (“yk”).
