President congratulates women’s national chess team on victory at European Championship

President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych congratulated Anna Ushenina, Kateryna Lahno, Mariya Muzychuk, Natalia Zhukova and Inna Gaponenko on the victory at the European Team Women’s Chess Championship 2013 held in Warsaw (the Republic of Poland), the press service of the Head of State reports.
“It is a pleasure to note that in 2013, our team has demonstrated the qualities of champions at the world and European championships,” the Head of State emphasized.
Yanukovych expressed confidence that the success achieved by Ukrainian athletes would enrich national sports traditions and inspire for the new victories.
The President wished the athletes a strong health, inexhaustible energy and new achievements for the benefit of Ukraine.
