1.Bxg6 hxg6
(if 1…Qxg6 2.Rg5)
2.Rg5
with the threat of 3.Rxg6+
is really “unpleasant”
as the pros use to say 😉
Bg6 and Rg5
How about
1.Bxg6…hxg (if 1….Qxg 2.Rg5)
2.Rg5…Bf5
3.gxf wins

Rh5..
Forcing f6 Knight and g6 pawn to move.

Bxg6 Qxg6
Rg5
or
Bxg6 hxg
Rh5
1.Bxg6
1…. Qxg6/hxg6
2.Rg5 +-
@Anon 8:21
i would play
1. Bxg6 first… if black plays
1 .. hxg6 your threat is better, while after
1 .. Qxg6 is worse
