The Transformers Generation 1 Chess Set will be out in the Spring of 2007, with and SRP of $299.99.
The Autobots side of the board features:
King = Optimus Prime
Queen = Rodimus
Knight = Grimlock
Bishop = Ultra Magnus
Rook = Jazz
Pawn = Bumblebee
The Decepticon side of the board features:
King = Megatron
Queen = Galvatron
Knight = Starscream
Bishop = Soundwave
Rook = Shockwave
Pawn = Kickback

voltron defender of the universe! yeah i was a big transformer fan. I remember when my parents bought me megatron for christmas and I took it to school for show and tell in one class and the teacher in another class seen me have it in my satchel and since i showed it to another kid and it resembled a gun she took it away and said she wouldnt give it back till the end of the year and the end of the year came and she said she lost it and never offered to pay for it. she probably gave it to her son who was about my age. Hey Mrs. Budd where is my megatron LOL…geeez that was 20 years ago i was like 6 in the 1st grade.
sometimes they had trouble forming voltron …….whenever one of the lions would get in trouble but when the did manage to form voltron i cannot recall anyone being a match for him. one swipe of his sword and you were finished 🙂 haha. i think we all still have a child in us. too funny
