Grandmasters Robert Markus, Aleksandar Kovacevic and Predrag Nikolic completed the tournament on the shared first place with 6,0/9 points each. Markus earned the winner’s trophy on best tie-break score.
The 43nd International Chess Tournament Bosna 2013 took place on 1-8th June at the Hotel Saraj in Sarajevo, BIH.
29 players participated in the A tournament, which was reserved for the players with FIDE rating of 2300 or higher. The B tournament, for players with FIDE rating of 2299 or lower, had 75 participants. Both groups were held over nine rounds of Swiss system.
Adnan Bandic (BIH 2243) won the B Group with 7,5/9 points.
