aronian s style is difficult to understand, his play is unspectactular, not attractive but strong and successfull

Aronian’s recent ascent is due in large part to better opening preparation, with several novelties before the 10th move. We should have seen this coming after 9 Qa4! against Leko in Linares (2/22/08) and after he whipped up Anand a couple times. I disagree with anon 2:05 pm, I think Aronian’s style is spectacular.
