I’ll vote for Irina, only because I like her style of play.
It would be so cool to see Tatev win, but it’s not likely to happen this year. She’ll be more hungry to win it next year.
Is this a “golden” period for US Women’s chess? Have there ever been this many top level players active in the championship?
Irina is showing a major lack of chess understanding as she has achieved a lost position against Rohonyan, pushing for a win in a blatantly worse endgame with no winning chances at all for her( she could of easily drawn it). Very stupid play by Krush,doesn’t deserve to win after this.
