The 4-day filming sessions in New York come to an end today. The crew will now go to England, then Orlando and finally Budapest. They will probably be done in January then the editing will begin. This film will include many important angles about chess that have never been brought up. I am very excited about this project.
Here is the video of the final filming location.
Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Congratulations and well done! Once again you prove that you are the best Ambassador of Chess. While everyone else complains you epitomize “I cannot hear what you say because what you DO speaks so loudly.” As I have said before: being good at chess does not make one good FOR chess. Fortunately, we have you with both attributes.
To encourage you further, the links that you provided to You Tube about the Pixar animated short “Playing Chess Alone” and Bobby Fischer/Boris Spassky Documentary have taken huge hits because of your blog. I watched them from day one and checked back. Your promotion is touching lives.
Finally, like the old axiom says, “If we do not learn from history we are doomed to repeat it.” Chess is now receiving more publicity than at any recent time since the FIDE/Garry
debacle. In 1972, Bobby brought the Royal Game huge exposure and popularity worldwide, especially the USA. The opportunity for growth prolongation was lost due to egos and mismanagement. Please emplore your fellow Grand Masters to Unify and NOT LOSE THIS MOMENTUM! Judit has huge buzz going for her and you know all of the elite players. You go girl!!!
