I know you love Gata, that doesn’t mean his rating is 2782!
Doesn’t want to be mean, need a correction for now. Hope he achieves this rating.
He IS rated 2782 in USCF!
I still can’t get over seeing Fressinet in an American Swiss, even if it’s not his first time. Why would he have been seeded using his Quick rating?
And the major question, where was Almira?
Friedel is proving that he’s worthy of his new GM title by playing the top two seeds (Kamsky and Nakamura) to hard-fought draws. Way to go, Josh!
Very impressed by the game
Petrosian vs Pruess in round 6
The ending was classic 🙂
