What’s up with Grischuk? Anyone any idea?
we had toilet-gate now wall-gate is in the making.
This wall seems to be interesting, maybe if Susan described it a little bit more en detail, we would understand Grischuk’s fascination…
No, honestly Grischuk’s time management during this tournament has been “interesting”. Maybe he just “projects his mental board” on that wall and plays through some lines.
maybe he watches the electronik screen rather than the real boaed?
He is using soto zen meditation techniques.
May be he is trying to read Aronian’s mind…Or to achieve a higher state of mind to find fresh ideas !
Or he has jut found out that he plays better when he is in time trouble!? 😉
And I think it’s for sure that he will get in terrible time trouble…
Move thirteen, time down to 36 minutes till time control on move 40.
This is just insane. Almost as good as good old Fritz Sämisch.
Time trouble or not, Grischuk is having a decent tournament. The board is in his head, not on the table.
move 15, 31 minutes left on the clock Grischuk starts to think again.
Well he does have balls. Gotta admit that.
Now he attacks. I like that. h5 could be very disturbing
… but that’s true i am puzzled by the time he took for the ‘obvious’ Qh6 ….
By the way Moro is showing a new method of “long” castling
Quite impressive – somehow curios, for sure abnormal and a bit silly perhaps. But impressive.
That is the way I would describe Grischuk’s play.
The strong pawn d4 and the strong bishop pair against that bad knight g4 give black some chances. Unbelievable!?
I did not understand Rxd3 – why did Aronian sac that exchange back?
There are some very very very exciting games today. Wow!
Is it possible that an image could be projected across the room with a mobile phone onto that wall at such an angle that only Grischuk can see of what he should do for his next move?
Is it possible that Grischuk is, through this wall, connected with aliens of the Vega Galaxy who are helping him ?
