It seems that,
1.Nxf5 gxf5
2.Bxf5 c4
3.d7 may give some advantage to white.
Bxf5 gxf5
Kxf5
threat Kh6…Be5
Petrotal
I think it’s good
1. Bxf5, gxf5;
2. Kxf5, and white has a clear advantage
Luigi
Black has totally Borked the position. Both N/Bxf5 work and even a non-move like a5 seems to hold a big advantage.

Sorry, but I’m not seeing it. After 1.a5 can’t Black wriggle out of the jam with 1…Nd7? Now the sacrifice on f5 has no punch: 2.Bxf5 gxf5 3.Nxf5 Re6 or 2.Nxf5 gxf5 3.Bxf5 N7d6.
“…Nd7? Now the sacrifice on f5 has no punch: 2.Bxf5 gxf5 3.Nxf5 Re6 or 2.Nxf5 gxf5 3.Bxf5 N7d6.” I guess it’s Ndf6 you mean. But 4. d7 keeps black struggling to keep an even keel 🙂

Grrr. Sorry for the typo. Yes, the line I looked at was:
1.a5(?) Nd7
2.Nxf5 gxf5
3.Bxf5 N7f6 (“Ndf6” doesn’t disambiguate)
You’re right, I did underestimate 4.d7. Black’s still in a straitjacket, and that g-file is awfully drafty.
1.Bxf5!
[1.Nxf5?! gxf5 2.Bxf5 c4 3.d7 Rd8±]
1…gxf5 2.Nxf5 Qb7
[2…Be6 3.Nh6+ Kg7 4.Be5+ Kxh6 5.Rxd5 Qxd5 6.Qf4+ Kh5 7.g4+ Bxg4 8.Qxg4+ Kh6 9.Bg7#]
3.Nh6+ Kg7 4.Nxf7 Qxf7 5.Qxf7+ Kxf7 6.Rxd5+-
Pharaoh
Pharaoh, i belive you, but i think the best is 3. Kh2! and one positional zug… the best is 3. … Ng6 and now 4. Nh6+ Kg7 5. N:f7 Q:f7 6. Q:d5… becose the knight not block “d” pawn, but your line is correct too!

To stulzer :
I agree that you can wait one move but the idea is the same anyhow, Nh6 …Kg Nxf7 …Qxf7 Qxf7/Qxd5 etc.
