Team Guam heads to Tromso Chess Olympiad

Guam Echecs, established in 2010, will send a team to the 41st Chess Olympiad in Tromso, Norway. This will be the first participation of Guam in the most important chess event.
The team includes, from left: (front row) Jun Moguel (secretary general), Leon Ryan (president and delegate), and Noly Caluag (vice president and team captain); (back row) Anthony Whitt (player), Riena Pierson (delegation staff), Efren Manuel (player), Benny Pinaula (player), David Sablan (delegation staff), Jonathan Molod (player), Roger Orio (player) and Jed Caluag (player).
