Finegold is playing?
Is Finegold Naka’s second? I thought Kasparov was working with him. Or is there a concurrent Open event?
As an Anand fan, like all his fans, I am hoping for an Anand win. But he does not take so much risk in tournaments now a days. So there is no chance of him winning the tournament but he will be in the top 3-4. Carlson is the hungry one who wants to show every one that he is the best. So he has the best chance. Ivanchuk is mostly everydody’s favorite but whether he will be on or off will be known only after the tournament starts. Kramnik and Gelfand will be OK but I don’t think good enough to win. Probably finish below Carlson and Anand. Aronian may beat anybody on one day and go down the other day. At last Nakamura the wizard in training. I don’t think he will do any miracles now. But who knows.. he may spring a surprise or two against somebody. Will finish at 4 – 6. Others will do well not to lose too many games and win one or two. Anyway interesting strong tournament. I hope everybody plays well and no body go for quick draws.
Ben is not playin’, still waiting for V. Korchonoi to show up.
Aren’t I the favorite?
