Would you have believed it if you were told before the tournament that after 3 rounds, Kramnik, Nakamura, and Gelfand would occupy the bottom 3 spots in the standings? Hard to believe but it is true. There are still 6 more rounds to go but it is very surprising so far.

I would have believed Nakamura would be there. He has been more talk than action. If he would stop believing his own bull and stop playing poker and start working he might have a chance to do well. Right now is more whiner than shiner.
Is that Nakamura?
I don’t think anyone is too surprised that Gelfand is struggling against this field (and that’s not a knock on him).
Hi Susan,
Tal Memorial has football like scoring. Please update your scoresheet – it might affect standings.
